One day Algernon's Poppet sent Algernon out to play. He sent the other Poppets out too.

"We're going to play a game. It helps make your brain happy, because there's reading and rules and you have to have other beings to play with you."

"They are the forces of chaos and the unexpected."

"There are so many!"

"There are some people who think that he who has the most dice wins."

This is Rainbow, who came to the House to stay.

   

This is Color Me Happy, who came to the House so she could leave with Someone Else.

 

This is the Someone Else, the Silly Human who now has the first Poppet she's ever had, because their insides match.

Color Me Happy and Rainbow have found The TeaForOne and they think it is a Happy Making Thing.

They wonder if they can make it even more colorful.

With teamwork, they succeed.

 

They have been warned to stay away from my closet. 

People from New York are HAPPY when they are wearing black.

Poppets Playing at the Fair

Poppets and Baby Brains are playing at the Fair.

The Tiny Poppets would like to play too.

Poppet Investigation

The Most Adventurous Red and the Steampunks are returning from investigative adventures.

They are heading to the door of the House when they see a mysterious object.

Close investigation reveals something that they do not recognize. 

The Tiny Poppets agree to scout it out.

They work together to remove the items from the mushy white and yellow cocoon.

There are two objects inside, as if the cocoon knew there would be two sizes of Poppets to investigate.

They closely inspect the larger item.

And the Doctors and Masters of Steampunk declare it an "Anachronism.

And continue on their way .

The Tiny Poppets are not so sure, and want to know "Why?"

So the Most Adventurous Red shows them.

And the Tiny Poppets had to agree that the objects might no longer be needed. 

But when the Steampunks and the Most Adventurous Red are not looking they go back.

Because there is a certain type of romance around Anachronisms. 

Poppet Bathtime

This is the Most Adventurous Red. He is travelling and stops to freshen up.

The House he is staying at has a very inviting bath.

He is feeling mighty dusty. The bath is very relaxing.

Tiny Poppets are looking at things.

It might be a bit too adventurous, the bathtub is very deep.

Poppets Play Noah's Ark

The Poppets are playing Noah's Ark.

They are all lined up.

How sweet. Are they being the animals Professor Crow?

They are being the Flood.

Marcelle at the Circus

This is Marcelle and she has tickets to the Circus.

   

She is going to go with people from the House because she is too small to drive on her own.

 

Marcelle wonders where the Big Top is, and she is a little sad that there really isn't one, but she does get to ride in an Elephant. 

 

She is not too small for the elephant.

Marcelle gets to meet lots of interesting people at the Circus

 

The Strongman thinks he knows her, but he can't quite figure out how.

She also met an acrobat.

And the tech crew

The Circus was full of wonders . . . .

Marcelle travelled home to the House to tell the others about it.
 

She thinks they should have a Circus at the House.
